Teacher's Assistant Pro ("the App") is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data within the App.

1. Offline-First & Local Storage

The App is designed with an "Offline-First" philosophy. All data you enter—including student names, contact information, lesson schedules, financial records, and evaluations—is stored locally on your mobile device in an encrypted SQLite database.

2. No Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data or your students' data on our servers. Since the App does not use a cloud-based backend for data storage, we have no access to the information you input.

3. Local Backup & Restore

The App provides a feature for users to create local backups of their data. These backups are stored on your device or in a location of your choosing (e.g., your personal cloud drive). You are solely responsible for the security and management of these backup files.

4. Third-Party Services

Google Maps: The App allows you to open student addresses in Google Maps for navigation. Use of this feature is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
App Stores: Apple App Store and Google Play Store may collect basic usage analytics as governed by their respective privacy policies.

Because all data remains on your device and under your direct control, the App helps you comply with GDPR requirements. You are the Data Controller for any student information you store.
